As the old enjoi slogan went, ‘We kill trees and party’ and as a skateboard company, there’s really not much getting around that. In order to try and restore some balance to the planet, we are partnering with The National Forest Foundation (NFF) to donate to their tree planting program. The NFF are an American non-profit organisation who partner with the United States Forrest Service, particularly in the area of restoring forest areas damaged by wildfire, drought and pests. The NFF has recently announced the ambitious goal to plant 50 million trees across the National Forests by 2023 so we are proud to be making a small contribution towards that effort. In 2018 our donation to the NFF will effectively plant over double the amount of trees we harvest for the production of our skateboards each year and we plan to continue to match this, if not increase our efforts into the future.
